Partial metal dental prosthesis

Made of a cobalt and chromium alloy, this partial prosthesis can replace one or more missing teeth. It rests on the remaining gums and teeth and is held in place with hooks to the natural teeth. It is used for both the upper and lower jaw. It includes an acrylic part of the color of gums and natural-looking artificial teeth.

Advantages :

• Easy maintenance;
• Discreet and aesthetic;
• Little adjustment required;
• Does not interfere with the movement of the tongue;
• Quick adaptation to this prosthesis;
• Metal conducts heat and cold;
• Does not damage the natural teeth on which it rests and does not cause cavities when strict hygiene is practiced.

Disadvantages :

• More expensive than the acrylic prosthesis;
• At first, the teeth on which the hooks rest may be sensitive (temporary);
• The brackets may be visible in some cases.

Note: Before manufacturing this prosthesis, it is important to receive a complete dental examination and dental cleaning to ensure that the teeth are free of cavities and suitable for receiving custom cast hooks.
