What is dental aesthetics?A beautiful smile can often give you self-confidence and therefore confidence on a daily basis, which is why it is so important for some people to want to change their smile to suit their taste. Dental aesthetics, also called aesthetic dentistry, is an art combined with science. It includes all the manipulations and tools available to dentists to improve the appearance of their patients’ smiles, such as veneers, dental crowns and tooth whitening. To obtain the best possible results, facial characteristics must be taken into account in order to harmonize the smile with the rest of the face. An aesthetic smile is a smile with as few defects as possible. A person’s satisfaction with their smile depends on several characteristics: the teeth must be as straight and white as possible. Their size and shape must match each other and also the size and shape of the face. Discover the aesthetics of smiling and orthodontics. Only a handful of lucky people can boast of having an aesthetic smile without the need for cosmetic dentistry. However, there is hope! With a good team of oral health professionals and an investment of time and money, almost any defect can now be fixed. |
