Your first visit will allow us to get to know you. An interview with our coordinator will ensure that your needs are clearly defined and that we can answer any questions you may have.

If you would like to improve the appearance of your smile or evaluate your child’s smile, a consultation appointment is essential. In order to confirm what’s best for correcting your smile, it’s important to carry out an assessment using digital photos and X-rays.

Prevention rather than cure

In children, the dentist can detect problems with jaw growth and tooth eruption. Some problems are more easily corrected at an early age. A first visit is recommended from the age of 7. Generally speaking, because children are still growing, this is the ideal time to obtain the best possible results.

During the consultation, the dentist may also identify a problem that requires further monitoring and intervention, in order to maximize results. Of course, orthodontic treatment can be successfully performed at any age!

What’s next?

Following the consultation, and in order to begin treatment, the second meeting is called the examination. This visit consists of taking data and appliance impressions. At our clinic, we have greatly reduced the need for impressions. Using our iTéro scanner, a device that digitizes the dentition into images reproduced in 3 dimensions, it is possible to carry out the analysis that will confirm the best treatment plan. These 3-D images are available much faster than conventional impressions, enabling the dentist to complete the analysis of the case with greater efficiency. Taking 3-D data instead of conventional impressions is much appreciated by our customers.

During the examination visit, photos are also taken to check all aspects of the teeth, gums and face in detail. Photos are essential to confirm the treatment plan, as the smile must harmonize with the rest of the face. Finally, at this meeting, you can confirm the choice of braces and discuss with the hygienist how the braces will be fitted and followed up to ensure a radiant smile.
